Application Lead - Payments Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Payments Expert to lead our team in delivering high-quality solutions for payments-related matters.

This role requires a deep understanding of payments fundamentals, technical leadership, and a knack for guiding teams to achieve excellent results in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of application design and development methodologies, project management tools, and troubleshooting techniques.

As a key decision-maker and mentor, you will guide junior team members in their growth and professional development, ensuring the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on all application and payment-related matters.
  • Lead and collaborate with a team of developers to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Engage with multiple teams, stakeholders, and business units to contribute to key architectural and technical decisions.
  • Provide expert technical and functional guidance across teams, resolving complex issues and offering innovative solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members, helping them grow their technical expertise and professional skills.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 15 years of full-time education is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, up to 10 years.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Deep expertise in Payments Fundamentals with knowledge of standards like ISO 8583, UPI, SWIFT, PCI DSS.
  • Strong background in application design & development using Java / .NET with API integration & microservices.
  • Proficiency in databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and application security principles.
