Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Authoring Stress Tests - You will author stress tests to validate hardware conceptual designs and ensure they meet the required specifications.
  • Functional Specifications - You will author functional specifications to communicate intentions with the broader team and ensure everyone is on the same page.
  • Debugging - You will debug challenging issues in multi-server execution environments and resolve them efficiently.
  • Code Review - You will review peers' code against good-practices and target architectures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Unit Testing - You will unit-test code development for validation (positive and negative testing) or new tests created.
  • Documentation - You will develop doc templates and test reports to communicate with hardware team counterparts of testing results.
  • Troubleshooting - You will root-cause unexpected issues and develop multi-layered patches to address immediate and long-term consequences of the issue.
  • Contributions - You will drive your own efforts to contribute to hardware tools team overall priorities and make a positive impact.
  • Languages - You will learn the varied code languages to support the various tools used by existing team development software suites, including C/C++, golang, python, TCL, and others.

Requirements:

  • Degree - B.S. Electrical Engineering and/or B.S. Computer Engineering.
  • Experience - 3-5 years of relevant experience in software engineering for tools development.
  • Skills - Self-motivated w/ a passion for developing elegant, high-quality software solutions.
