Software Engineer Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust server-side applications using Node.js.
  • Build, deploy, and manage REST APIs for efficient data exchange.
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Work with various databases like MongoDB and MySQL to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of JavaScript, including its syntax and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js framework, and asynchronous programming.
  • Strong understanding of database integration, including MongoDB and MySQL.
  • Basic knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Experience with API security, testing tools (Jest, Mocha), and debugging techniques.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expertise in cloud-based infrastructure and containerization.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and DevOps practices.
