Job Opportunity for Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our organization. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and data integration solutions in a cloud-based environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Azure, Data Engineering tools, and advanced ETL design along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose efficient solution designs, ensuring data quality, reliability, and adherence to best practices in data engineering.

  • Design and Develop Advanced ETL Pipelines: Create complex ETL pipelines for batch data ingestion and egress using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Spark (PySpark & Scala Spark), and other Azure services.
  • Build Scalable Data Solutions: Develop scalable data solutions using Azure Cloud services, ADF, and Databricks.
  • Troubleshoot Data Jobs: Identify issues and implement effective root cause solutions to ensure smooth data processing.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will maintain detailed documentation of problem definitions, solutions, and architecture. You will also work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring project deadlines are met.

We are looking for a self-driven individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala, as well as hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark & Scala Spark). Experience with Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and Azure Data Engineer Associate is preferred but not required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services, ADF, and Databricks.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark & Scala Spark).
  • Expertise in designing and implementing complex ETL pipelines for batch data.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
