Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team and work on Guidewire Billing Center applications. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to design, develop, and maintain applications that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Develop and configure Guidewire Billing Center applications using Gosu and PCF. Extend the BillingCenter data model and business rules to meet customer needs.
  • Development: Write code using GOSU, Java, and other relevant programming languages. Ensure high-quality solutions through unit testing and QA support.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Guidewire Billing Center applications. Troubleshoot complex problems across the billing lifecycle.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions. Document generation and integration.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and customization of Guidewire Billing Center applications.
  • Take ownership of functional modules, including invoicing and delinquency management, payments, payment requests, and disbursements, billing instructions and commission processing, trouble tickets (setup, workflows, resolution tracking), and mentoring junior developers.

Required Skills:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Guidewire Billing Center, GOSU, Java, and web services (SOAP/REST). Experience with agile methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Hands-on experience with Guidewire applications, preferably Billing Center. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Guidewire certification in Billing Center or other Guidewire modules is highly preferred.
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of property and casualty insurance is a plus.
