As a key member of our corporate finance team, you will be responsible for executing sell-side and buy-side M&A projects, financing and fundraising.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with targeting and approaching new clients to identify potential business opportunities
  • Significant involvement in the creation of pitch documents, pricing/valuation papers, all marketing materials, management presentations and execution of supporting transaction structuring as well as advising clients on commercial negotiation
  • Assisting the project lead in the daily execution of all aspects of M&A projects

Qualifications:


Experience: 4-6 years in corporate finance, M&A/investment banking, transaction advisory or consulting services.


Education: MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with a solid academic record.


Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial statements and their interlinkages
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Good understanding of capital markets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent proficiency in written and verbal communication skills – English and German (mandatory)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)
  • Command in using research databases such as S&P Capital IQ, MergerMarket, Pitchbook, Fame, Orbis, among others
