About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced enterprise lawyer to manage all aspects of our contractual arrangements with vendors. The successful candidate will oversee legal documentation, ensuring that agreements with counterparties are robust and compliant with all applicable regulatory and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage vendor contracts across the organisation, guaranteeing that agreements are well-structured and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of effective vendor management processes.
- Conduct thorough legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations.
- Source suitable legal templates and ensure their proper use.
- Provide support to stakeholders as necessary, including liaising with external vendors to negotiate agreements.
- Ensure overall compliance with applicable laws and regulations in our organisational framework.
Requirements:
- Experience in contract law and commercial law, particularly in vendor and enterprise agreements, is essential.
- Experience in intellectual property law is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills.
- Business acumen.
- Qualifications: A qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience.
