As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will collaborate with our digital technology team in coding, testing, debugging and maintaining the architecture of solutions to enhance our brand websites.

Responsibilities

You will work within an Agile framework, utilizing the Microsoft Visual Studio ecosystem, GitHub and Atlassian stack (Jira & Confluence), to test applications.

Develop comprehensive test plans and cases with well-documented scenarios for new frontend web applications and REST APIs. You will conduct thorough end-to-end testing, emulating user needs, ensuring functionality meets business requirements.

Implement automated scripts with JavaScript, TypeScript and Cypress, achieving high test coverage according to industry best practices.

Perform manual testing as needed and document results according to industry standards.

Participate in requirement gathering with the development team to identify optimal solutions for new applications and services.

Compile technical documentation on performed work according to industry standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must have:

At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation using known software testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Postman etc.)

Deep understanding of QA and development methodologies.

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.

Good coding skills in JavaScript.

Experience with a defect tracking system (e.g. Gitlab, Jira, VSTS etc).

Ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.

Ability for self-dependent problem-solving.

High-level English (excellent writing skills, fluent speech).

Understanding of APIs.

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (we use Jenkins).

Experience with Web automation testing.

Experience in Server side automation testing.

Nice to have:

Experience with performance testing.

Experience with Docker.

Experience with TypeScript.
