The role of Data and Business Intelligence Analyst plays a crucial part in building and maintaining data infrastructure for a leading organization while delivering insightful analysis through Power BI and Excel. The position combines data engineering and analytics, requiring strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines, as well as the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain data collection tools used by all departments.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and APIs.
  • Administer and optimize the SQL database on Microsoft Azure.
  • Ensure high-quality, clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflows.
  • Implement and maintain data quality controls.
Data Analysis and Insights:
  • Develop interactive PBI dashboards and automated reporting tools for various teams.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Present findings and insights to internal teams and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Ensure dashboards and data collection tools accurately reflect the status of programs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, computer engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in SQL development and database administration (Azure SQL preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar tools).
  • Proficiency with APIs and data integration methods.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, macros a plus).
  • Expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design).
  • Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and analysis.
