Highly skilled PCB Designers are sought to spearhead the development of cutting-edge printed circuit boards. In this role, you will be responsible for creating intricate designs using schematic and layout techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop multilayer PCB layouts up to 6-12 layers in mixed signal design.
  • Design high-speed mixed signals and HDI boards.
  • Utilize BGAs with Blind and buried via techniques.
  • Stay current on latest interfaces like USB, Ethernet, CAN etc.
  • Apply knowledge of differential routing, length matching routing, impedance routing etc.
  • Understand constraints and utilize the constraint manager.
  • Minimize EMI/EMC problems.
  • Conduct DFM & DFA analysis and Gerber & ODB++ checking.
  • Adhere to IPC standards.
  • Design schematics and approve PCB footprints.
  • Use Allegro tool for schematic design entry.
  • Review schematics and PCB layouts internally and for customers.
  • Source PCB vendors and coordinate manufacturing issues.
  • Perform board bring-ups, debugging, and testing.
  • Preferred experience includes UART, I2C, LCD, SPI, QSPI, CSI2, CAN communication etc.
  • Approve BOMs and releases.
  • Choose components for schematic designs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in design/code reviews.

Required Skills:

  • A proven track record of 10+ successful production-level PCBs in the market.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective third-party vendor interaction and review of work.
  • Good knowledge of industrial PCB design tools and flow.
