Assistant Manager

The Opportunity:
As an Assistant Manager- Accounts Receivable, you will be responsible for handling customer/distributor relationships and end-to-end account reconciliation. You will also be responsible for monitoring credit block releases based on payments and outstanding amounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for resolving disputed payment/invoice issues with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor credit block releases and ensure timely payments.
- Resolve disputed payment/invoice issues with customers.
- Act as a liaison between the company and customers to manage overdue accounts.
- Work closely with the commercial team to review payment terms and credit limits.
- Collaborate with the global risk team to implement payment terms and credit limits.
- Share monthly forecast with business leaders on expected collections.
- Identify root causes and analyze all payments-related disputes.
- Manage stakeholders and customer escalations.
- Participate in new pilot projects and initiatives related to accounts receivable.
- Coordinate with third-party collections agencies for better cash flow.
- Track and work closely with GBC on unapplied allocated payments lying in suspense GL on a monthly basis.
- Responsible for liaisoning with legal departments for disputed customers.
- Responsible for preparing and timely submitting AR audit schedules.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- At least 8+ years of trade collection experience.
