**Job Description for Senior Backend Developer at Thryve Digital Health LLP**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Thryve Digital Health LLP. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications in a fast-paced, agile environment.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Building efficient server-side applications: You will work on building scalable, secure, and maintainable server-side applications using Python (flask, Django, etc.) and React JS.
  • Design and implementation**: You will help design and implement functional requirements for our backend applications.
  • Peer code review and coaching**: You will conduct peer code reviews and coach junior team members to improve their coding skills.
  • Loading data into databases**: You will be responsible for loading data into databases, managing databases, and ensuring data integrity.
  • GitLab CICD management**: You will manage GitLab Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) for the project.
  • Testing and bug fixes**: You will ensure that all applications are thoroughly tested, including unit tests and integration tests, and fix bugs promptly.
  • Solution deployment**: You will deploy solutions to test environments and elevate them to production environments.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • ReactJS**: Deep understanding of React concepts, including functional components, hooks (useState, useEffect, etc.), context API, and lifecycle methods.
  • Next.js**: Experience building server-side rendered (SSR) and statically generated (SSG) applications with Next.js, including features like routing, data fetching (getStaticProps, getServerSideProps), and API routes.
  • JestJS**: Experience writing unit tests using Jest for React components, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Axios**: Experience making API calls and handling asynchronous operations using Axios.
  • Git**: Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Python and Postgres SQL**: Strong working knowledge of Python and Postgres SQL.
