Senior Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Specialist to spearhead our network security initiatives at Knowledgeworks-Global-Ltd.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Firewall and NIPS solutions, ensuring secure and efficient network operations.
  • Commission and implement various Firewall & NIPS solutions, integrating them with management and authentication tools.
  • Manage policies and exceptions, while proactively utilizing network monitoring tools to prevent service degradation.
  • Troubleshoot layers 1, 2, and 3 of the OSI Model, applying security patches as required.
  • Perform daily performance checks on devices, periodic audits, and compliance.
  • Deploy and maintain access-list and firewall policies, maintaining service levels and overseeing day-to-day configuration.
  • Co-ordinate with OEM's for TAC support, RMA, replacement & reconfiguration of faulty Firewalls/NIPS.
  • Create technical documentation, as-build network diagrams, inventory control documentation, and security documentation.

Requirements:

  • CCNP (Routing & Switching) and CCNP (Security) or equivalent.
  • At least 10-12 years' experience in network security, with 5 years in Fortinet/Cisco Firewalls and IPS.
  • Proficiency in managing Firewall and NIPS solutions, Windows, Linux, Unix environment.
  • Hands-on experience in commissioning and implementation of various Firewall & NIPS solutions and integrating with management and authentication tools.
  • Experience in managing policies and exceptions, packet capture, analysis, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Product knowledge of firewall, NIPS, SSL, Routing Protocols, Dual Factor Authentication, etc.
