Job Opportunity

The Embedded Testing Engineer role is a critical position that demands a strong understanding of embedded software and testing principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating tools, libraries, drivers, and other embedded packages to ensure they meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define validation strategies for GE Power Conversion drives to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Develop test applications and automated test scripts using generic scripting tools to streamline the testing process.
  • Create test scenarios for hardware modules supporting various communication protocols to ensure seamless integration.
  • Prepare test plans, test cases, bug reports, and other documents to facilitate efficient collaboration and decision-making.
  • Perform extensive regression tests and tests on new features to ensure product reliability and stability.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Team Leads, and Developers to align testing efforts with business objectives.
  • Interact with stakeholders globally to provide timely support and resolution to customer issues.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally to maintain a positive reputation.
Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics from a reputable institution to possess a solid foundation in theoretical knowledge.
  • 2-4 years of experience in industrial validation environments to demonstrate practical skills and expertise.
  • Strong understanding of C, Python, and scripting tools to efficiently develop and execute test plans.
  • Excellent debugging skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues quickly.
  • Basic understanding of Cyber Security principles to ensure secure testing practices.
