About this role

We are seeking a skilled Japanese Language Model Trainer to join our team. As a trainer, you will be responsible for developing and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) to achieve optimal performance.

In this role, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, implement, and evaluate training data, model architectures, and optimization techniques. Your expertise in Japanese language processing and LLMs will enable us to create more accurate and informative models that can understand and respond to user queries.

To succeed in this position, you should have a strong background in computer science, machine learning, or a related field, as well as excellent programming skills in languages such as Python or Java. Experience with popular deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is also desirable.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a technical or analytical field, preferably in machine learning or natural language processing.
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese language processing, including tokenization, part-of-speech tagging, named entity recognition, and dependency parsing.
  • Experience with large-scale model training, deployment, and maintenance using cloud-based platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging documentation and reports.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.
