**Job Description:**

  • Manage and deploy Environmental Health and Safety programs to mitigate risk, drive regulatory compliance, and establish a positive EHS culture.

The EHS Lead will be responsible for day-to-day EHS leadership and support, including the development, planning, and implementation of Environmental Health and Safety programs based on local regulations and policies. The EHS Lead will work closely with site leadership to ensure compliance with applicable laws, local regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the implementation of EHS programs by operationalizing EHS, partnering with leadership to ensure compliance with applicable laws, local regulations, and GEHC policies.
  2. Provide technical expertise in managing High Risk Operations, including LOTO, Electrical, PPE, MOC, Risk Assessment, Emergency Preparedness, Radiation safety, etc.
  3. Drive rigor and execution to EHS programs, objectives, and metrics, integrating EHS into day-to-day operations.
  4. Lead incident investigations and drive closure of effective corrective and preventive actions.
  5. Analyze trends and performance, provide routine feedback, and drive actions to improve performance.
  6. Interact with environmental, health, and safety regulatory agencies as needed.
  7. Execute required actions to implement and operationalize a sustainable EHS management system.
  8. Drive EHS compliance and program effectiveness through audits, process, equipment reviews, and site inspections.
  9. Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for the site and drive necessary efforts to achieve them.
  10. Lead incident investigations and drive closure of effective corrective and preventive actions.
  11. Assure 100% completion of training, audits, and other compliance aspects throughout the organization.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Diploma in Industrial Safety.
  • 8+ years of experience in leading environmental and safety compliance programs in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with incident investigation methodologies, including 5-Why.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate, and influence teams, drive change, and interact cross-functionally.
