Stablecoin Payment Systems Engineering Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to spearhead the development of our stablecoin payment systems. This individual will be responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems that power payments and settlements, ensuring seamless integrations with on/off-ramp providers across geographies.

The Role:

  • Design and develop web and mobile applications with a focus on scalability and security
  • Lead technical discussions and own architecture for integrations and scaling
  • Mentor and manage a small engineering team across infra + app layers
  • Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory readiness in architecture
  • Own delivery timelines and establish engineering best practices

Responsibilities:

  • Develop backend systems for web and mobile applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and services
  • Identify and mitigate potential security risks in architecture
  • Establish engineering best practices and standards

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in backend engineering
  • Strong skills in TypeScript/Node.js, API design, and fintech/payments
  • Background in fintech or payments strongly preferred
  • Experience building integrations with external APIs/partners across geographies
  • Track record of leading small teams and scaling early-stage systems
