Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing Quality Assurance team. As a key member of the QA team, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining both UI and backend automation tests to ensure the highest quality standards across the application.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of QA processes, and a proven ability to be an independent contributor who can unblock themselves and peers. They will play a critical role in mentoring junior team members, ensuring best practices in testing, and collaborating effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for both UI and backend using Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman, and Cucumber frameworks.
  • Develop, enhance, and refactor automation frameworks to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reusability.
  • Write and maintain test cases that cover functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Development: Implement automated tests for UI and backend systems.
  • API Testing: Write automated API tests using RestAssured and Postman.
  • Agile and Continuous Integration (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Analyze complex issues and resolve them independently.

Requirements:

  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and services.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and experience with containerization tools like Docker.
  • Required experience of 5 to 8 years.
