We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Associate to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will gain hands-on experience in legal and compliance domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management & Legal Documentation:
    • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Conduct legal research and support preparation of briefs and reports.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate contractual risks and optimize terms that protect the organization's interests.
  • Compliance:
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Stay updated on legal developments, assess their impact, and provide guidance to the organization.
    • Respond to regulatory inquiries and audits.
    • Collaborate with departments to ensure company-wide compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage statutory registers and records.
    • Organize board and committee meetings, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
    • Handle filings with regulatory authorities, including annual returns and other statutory submissions.
  • Corporate Governance:
    • Support corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, meeting minutes, and regulatory filings.
    • Maintain corporate records and documentation.
  • Risk Mitigation:
    • Identify potential legal and regulatory risks, assess their impact, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Processes and Communications:
    • Execute legal tasks efficiently and in line with best practices.
    • Draft legal documents and maintain clear communication within the legal team and other departments.
    • Bridge communication between the legal team and other departments, ensuring legal considerations are understood and incorporated into broader operations.
    • Document meetings related to legal and compliance issues.
  • General Support:
    • Provide general legal support to the legal and compliance team.
    • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative efforts.
