Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality Ruby on Rails applications with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Design and implement robust database architectures using RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
  • Implement security best practices to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring they remain up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is being written and maintained.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members as needed.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework and experience with Sinatra.
  • Proven experience working with microservices-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, ZooKeeper, and Thrift or similar messaging/streaming platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with SOLR for search and AWS services (especially AWS SQS, hosting, and cloud infrastructure).
  • Experience with security practices including bot mitigation.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
