**Job Description**: We are seeking a skilled Kafka Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our Kafka-based systems.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Kafka concepts, including topics, partitions, consumers, producers, and security.

  • Experience with testing Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and other Kafka ecosystem components is necessary.

  • Strong familiarity with APIs and expertise with Postman/SOAP and X-RAY are required skills.

  • Working knowledge of Agile/JIRA/Confluence and hands-on experience with SQL, Mongo, XML, JSON, CSV, Avro, etc. are essential qualifications.

  • Continuous integration and automated testing skills, as well as experience with Git and version control, are necessary for this role.

While not essential, experience with troubleshooting Kafka-related issues and strong skills in Kafka client configuration and troubleshooting would be an added advantage.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
