Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to drive initiatives that improve developer experience, accelerate release cycles, and build scalable internal platforms. This role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and strategy to create tools, frameworks, and platforms that directly impact developer velocity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in setting vision and execution roadmap for developer productivity and platform engineering.
  • Design and build internal tools/platforms that optimize CI/CD, testing frameworks, and infrastructure automation.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native solutions, including Kubernetes, AWS, and ephemeral environments.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to align developer experience initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Champion best practices around continuous delivery, developer efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Mentor engineers, foster innovation, and build a culture of experimentation and learning.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in software engineering with at least 3 years in platform/dev productivity roles.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Spinnaker/Jenkins/ArgoCD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, dynamic test selection, code quality gates, and coding skills in Go, Python, or Java.
  • Experience designing ephemeral environments, monitoring/observability tools, leading small teams, mentoring engineers, and driving large-scale initiatives.
  • Strong communication and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
