About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to drive system design and platform architecture decisions, building scalable and resilient systems using Java (Spring Boot) and event-driven architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive system design and platform architecture decisions
  • Build scalable, resilient systems using Java (Spring Boot) and event-driven architectures
  • Solve real-time, high-throughput challenges in search, pricing, and booking workflows
  • Owning end-to-end delivery of critical initiatives from design to deployment
  • Lead multiple high-impact projects simultaneously
  • Mentor teams while solving the most complex, ambiguous technical challenges
  • Embrace AI-powered development to boost productivity
  • Build automation-first solutions and internal platforms
  • Focus on performance optimization and low-latency system design

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years backend development experience
  • Deep Java expertise (Spring Boot, Hibernate)
  • Hands-on developer who can code, architect, and lead by example
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines
  • Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders - Product teams, Clients, and Cross-functional tech teams
  • Distributed systems experience with event-driven architectures
  • NoSQL databases (ScyllaDB, MongoDB)
  • Performance optimization and latency tuning skills
  • Ownership mindset with proven track record of delivering mission-critical projects
