About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications and systems.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will design, develop, and support various tools, services, and applications to maintain a reliable site environment. You will also monitor, measure, and optimize system performance and network communication.

In addition, you will work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities and provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and systems programming.

You will have a strong understanding of software engineering principles and agile methodologies. Experience with ops automation using scripting languages such as Python or Ansible is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support various tools, services, and applications to maintain a reliable site environment.
  • Monitor, measure, and optimize system performance and network communication.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and systems programming.
  • Have a strong understanding of software engineering principles and agile methodologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or industry certification in an applicable IT field, plus 3 years' experience in design/administration/support of one or more platforms.
  • 3 or more years' experience as a Systems Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
  • Experience with ops automation using a scripting language such as Python or Ansible.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience with VMWare VDI implementations.
  • Experience with Dynatrace APM and synthetic monitoring.
