Project Manager and Technical Lead Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager and Technical Lead to join our team at IGT Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and ensuring successful project delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project planning, execution, and monitoring, with expertise in Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks. Additionally, they should have experience working with .NET and Java technologies, as well as cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and designers.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address concerns, and provide feedback.
  • Technical Oversight:
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams working with .NET and Java technologies.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
  • Review technical designs and architecture decisions, offering recommendations for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate as necessary to resolve them efficiently.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and milestones.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and expectations.
  • Maintain project documentation, including requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
  • Generate regular progress reports and metrics for project stakeholders.
  • Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to resolve conflicts within project teams.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
  • Expertise in .NET and Java technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package.
