We are seeking a meticulous and highly analytical Business Intelligence Specialist to lead our data management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Governance: Develop, implement, and maintain master data entries, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the organization.
  • Manage user roles and access rights to prevent unauthorized data access.
  • Provide quality assurance for imported data, collaborating with quality assurance analysts as needed.
  • Commission and decommission data sets to ensure seamless data migration.
  • Process confidential information in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Assist in developing reports and analyses to inform business decisions.
  • Design and manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Promote data integrity and normalization initiatives to improve data quality.
  • Evaluate tests and implement new or upgraded software to optimize system performance.
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems to provide comprehensive insights.
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assess changes and updates to source production systems to ensure seamless integration.
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards to enhance their data analysis capabilities.
  • Offer technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing to drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science or a related field.
  • Work experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a related role.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into nontechnical terms to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated experience handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards to ensure data consistency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
