Job Title: Lead Aws Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineering Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of large-scale data processing systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in working with big data technologies such as AWS, Python, PySpark, and data modeling.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable data processing systems using big data technologies.
  • Leverage machine learning algorithms to improve data processing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of data engineering and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation to support data engineering efforts.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on big data technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience designing and implementing data models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
