Job Title:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end application project management for large-scale, complex application development, implementation, and upgrade projects.

About the Role:
  • This is a highly visible role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, QA engineers, business analysts, and external vendors.
  • You will be responsible for developing project roadmaps, coordinating project deliverables, and ensuring compliance with project management best practices, IT governance, data security, and change management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project roadmaps and work closely with business stakeholders to define and refine project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, QA engineers, business analysts, and external vendors.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • Utilize Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies, depending on the project requirements, to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks by managing project issues and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Track and report on project performance using project management tools and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, including mentoring and training junior project managers and team members.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to provide regular updates, escalate issues as necessary, and manage expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with project management best practices, IT governance, data security, and change management processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure user adoption, training, and smooth handover of applications.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, requirements, design specs, and post-project reviews.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in software development or IT.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
