Job Opportunity

  • The Data Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration processes, reports, and database solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise to deliver high-quality code, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Kanban environment.
  • This is a long-term remote opportunity with core working hours between 11am-11pm IST, overlapping with Pacific time zone by 3-4 hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Integration:
    • Design and develop complex ETL workflows (data extraction, transformation, loading).
    • Create and optimize reports with interactive dashboards, drill-downs, and parameterized features.
    • Write advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for SQL Server databases.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in data integration processes and reports.
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
    • Work closely with the Onshore Coordinator and Offshore Lead to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Document code, data mappings, and technical specifications in Confluence/Jira.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Quality Assurance & Innovation:
    • Perform unit testing and support QA teams to ensure defect-free deliverables.
    • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, self-service reporting).
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies (e.g., Snowflake, API integrations, cloud migrations).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Tools: Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub, Jira, Confluence.
  • Exposure to Snowflake, Power BI, or cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, ability to work independently and mentor junior developers, excellent communication to collaborate with onshore/offshore teams.
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, certifications (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, ETL Tools) preferred.
  • Experience in financial, healthcare, or telecom domains is advantageous.
