Job Description

Amukha is a cutting-edge FinTech company that specializes in the analysis of structured and unstructured data. Our expertise lies in extracting insights from diverse datasets, making us an attractive partner for financial institutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled DB Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our flagship product, Risk Analytics System (RAS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and programming databases to enhance existing features and new initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop database solutions to support business growth and improve system efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with clients to configure infrastructure for deploying Amukha's applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  3. Maintain system security, server integrity, and application stability in compliance with client policies.
  4. Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring continuous improvement and scalability.

Responsibilities also include providing technical support to end-users on database and software-related issues, supporting the company's application, database, and infrastructure architecture, and planning backup and recovery strategies for the database.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience with sound knowledge of SQL databases.
  • Understanding of RDBMS basics.
  • Knowledge of TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server) is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to SSIS or other ETL tools.
  • Good working knowledge of MS-Excel, .csv, and other file systems.

A strong foundation in database design, implementation, and optimization, as well as hands-on experience in a product company, would be a significant asset. Additionally, exposure to application and database design, brokerage and/or financial industry experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Visio would be beneficial.
