Autodesk is seeking a Senior Product Owner to join our team in Pune. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for defining product requirements, communicating the vision to the engineering team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
Responsibilities- Partner with product management, experience design, software architects, leadership, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and communicate the vision to the engineering team.
- Clearly express backlog items, partnering with scrum teams to break down requirements into epics and user stories.
- Prioritize the product backlog, ensuring incremental delivery of business value over time.
- Ensure that the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all to the level needed.
- Review deliverables of the sprints and provide feedback to the scrum teams.
- Communicate status and deliverables to stakeholders and collect feedback for the engineering team.
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience in large back-end distributed systems and cloud computing.
- 2+ years of prior work experience as a Product Owner (or a Project/Product Manager in an agile environment).
- Experience in projects involving services in the cloud accessed through web, mobile, and desktop.
- Ability to work with teams distributed across multiple locations and time zones.
- Strong planning and dependency management skills.
- Strong understanding and successful application of Scrum and other agile software development methodologies.
- Working to identify scope and owner, and consulting and communication with stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work with a diverse team of engineers, product managers, and experience designers to align and deliver high-quality, high-impact solutions.
- Delivering a best-in-class customer and developer experience.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of technical and non-technical skills.
- Experience in building platform-centric projects.
- Experience in using Jira, Confluence.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Real-world experience with Autodesk software Fusion 360.
- Graduation in an engineering field.
