Cloud Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems on the cloud.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on data engineering.
  • Proficiency in core Java technologies and frameworks like Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for data streaming.
  • Proficient with AWS Services such as S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, etc.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, preferably with working knowledge of database technologies such as Aurora PostgreSQL or Snowflake.
  • Good knowledge of Python Programming.
  • Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools.
  • Unit and integration test automation using Junit, pytest, Mockito etc.
  • Experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services.
  • An understanding of microservice architecture and twelve factor app patterns.
  • Ability to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environments.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Knowledge of systems, controls and techniques for identity, authorization, and authentication management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a small, agile team in a very collaborative environment where ideas are welcome.
  • Solid analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
