Business Intelligence Specialist

Job Description:

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Work extensively with JSON data formats for integration and processing.
  • Design, implement payloads/API calls, work with tools like Postman, Bruno etc, to consume REST APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between services/systems.
  • Analyze and interpret data to generate actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Review and understand legacy system code to ensure smooth integration and migration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in working with relational databases and JSON structures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and handle various programming languages such as Python, Node.js, and Angular.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline development.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for data manipulation.
  • Familiarity or basic experience with BI reporting and open-source charting libraries.

Requirements:

  • 11-13 years of hands-on development experience.
  • Experience managing and leading teams of developers.
  • Working knowledge of data modeling, solution architecture, normalization, and data profiling.
