Job Title: Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled professional to develop automated scripts in Python, create synthetic test data, and ensure high-quality data delivery in a CI/CD environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will design and develop automated tests using Python-based frameworks such as YData-Synthetic and SDV (Synthetic Data Vault). They will collaborate with developers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure proper test coverage. Additionally, they will integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop automated scripts in Python to create a golden model within SQL Server for test automation.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
  3. Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment.
  4. Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Test Automation, particularly with data validation and transformation logic.
  • Proficiency in Python, including frameworks such as YData-Synthetic and SDV (Synthetic Data Vault).
  • Experience in CI/CD environments and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • MUST HAVE: Experience with GE Plant Applications.
  • Nice to have: Experience with MS SQL Server.
