Job Summary:

The role of Final Test/Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring that equipment meets customer requirements through final test qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct FAT tests for semiconductor equipment and qualification
  • Execute checklists and procedures, updating tasks as needed
  • Collect, process, and analyze data for statistical purposes
  • Apply troubleshooting methods to eliminate equipment malfunctions
  • Record process documentation and production data meticulously
  • Refine process recipes based on test recipes and customer requirements
  • Pump down vacuum chambers and load-locks with safety measures
  • Evaluate ESD requirements for platforms
  • Handle delicate semiconductor wafers/panels with precision and care
  • Verify lock-out/tag-out procedures and ensure Environmental Health & Safety guidelines are followed

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coach team members on mechanical components, adjustment, and alignment
  • Write daily reports and present them to the team, supervisor, and manager
  • Give input on peers during yearly reviews
  • Support new product launches to ensure supplier quality meets standards
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues

Qualifications:

  • Degree in electrical, electronics, software, or mechanical engineering preferred
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in relevant final testing/process
  • Substantial experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Experience working in equipment engineering in semiconductor, solar, or LED industries

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with PID tuning (conventional and advanced methods)
  • CAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor knowledge is a plus
  • Some software and PLC knowledge is a plus
  • Good understanding of air- or liquid-based instruments, PNID diagrams, and gas handling
  • Ability to work in cleanroom environments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
