The role of a Business Development Specialist is crucial in establishing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. Key responsibilities include developing and managing a strong sales pipeline, conducting initial qualification of leads to assess their needs and potential, and implementing client engagement programs to maintain interest and build relationships.
As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings, as well as gaining in-depth knowledge of our company's insurance products and solutions.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong verbal and written communication skills, a relationship-building mindset with a customer-centric approach, and basic understanding of insurance products (preferably). Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software is also essential.
