Senior Financial Operations Specialist

Job Role
The primary focus of this role is to provide senior-level financial guidance and support to ensure the success of our company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining open lines of communication with stakeholders, providing regular financial reports and updates on clients, and ensuring that accounting policies are applied consistently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal control guidelines, and GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Coordinate tax reporting requirements, including preparation of federal, state, sales, and property tax returns.
- Manage daily operations of the accounting department, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare royalty calculations based on contract agreements.
- Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and procedures to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Requirements include:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience as a US accountant in a professional services firm.
- Working knowledge of accounting software applications such as QBO, Business Central, and E-commerce platforms like Shopify and Amazon.
- Proficient knowledge of English language (read, write, and speak).
- Good communication skills required to provide comfort to clients.
CA certification and experience working in a multinational organization are preferred.
