We are seeking an experienced Java Enterprise Architect to join our team at UST. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient Java-based enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a technical team of software developers, business analysts, and a Product Owner to design and implement Java-based enterprise solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify business needs and detect dependencies, impediments, and potential risks.
  • Capture functional and non-functional requirements and design technical solutions leveraging Spring Framework and Microservices Architecture.
  • Contribute to the development process by implementing PoCs and standardizing software delivery adopting DevOps practices.
  • Ensure the overall quality and fit of the technical solution, as well as the overall performance of the application stack.
  • Oversee progress of the development team to ensure consistency with the initial design, development principles, and deadlines.
  • Efficiently review code and provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
Requirements:
  • Excellent experience in designing and solutioning enterprise architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in OOPS concepts with Java and knowledge of RESTful APIs Architecture.
  • Good level of experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring MVC, along with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and BDD Testing.
  • Strong experience in Azure cloud platform, including API Gateway, Key Vault, Azure Functions, and Blobs.
  • Database experience with NoSQL and RDBMS, including Cosmos, Mongo, MySQL, Postgres, and MS SQL.
  • Excellent understanding of design patterns and microservice architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and exposure to Apache Camel or Spring Integration.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills.
