Job Title: Advanced Manufacturing Systems Lead
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Advanced Manufacturing Systems Lead to join our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, innovation, strategy, or technology, with experience managing end-to-end client engagements and programs.
About the Role- Lead diagnostics across plants/value streams, baseline key performance indicators (KPIs) such as overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), first pass yield (FPY), throughput, and cost per unit, and prioritize value.
- Design and deliver cost-out initiatives (Lean/total productive maintenance, yield & scrap reduction, energy/utilities optimization, maintenance strategy, network/footprint).
- Shape Industry 4.0 roadmaps (manufacturing execution system/MES/scada/historian, Internet of Things/IoT/edge, digital twins, advanced planning systems/APS, advanced quality analytics) and run pilots-through-scale with measurable EBITDA impact.
- Build business cases and benefit-tracking models; present to executive officers/board members; drive change on the shop floor through client capability building.
- Orchestrate multi-workstream programs with cross-functional teams and ecosystem partners (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, operational technology vendors) with attention to data, cybersecurity, and safety.
- Coach and manage consulting teams.
- Contribute to proposals and thought leadership.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, innovation, strategy, operations, or technology.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end client engagements and programs.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong core consulting skills – i.e., analytical, primary and secondary research, presentation, and financial modeling.
