At Shift Ahead Technologies, we are seeking a seasoned Monitoring Engineer to lead our team in Solapur, India. A strong background in monitoring and maintaining complex IT infrastructures is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuously monitor and acknowledge alerts in a 24x7 environment, ensuring prompt communication with clients and vendors as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, ISPs, and vendors for troubleshooting purposes, leveraging proficient English skills.
  • Utilize Jira ticketing tool to raise cases and notify the onsite team in a timely manner.
  • Configure and monitor alerts in Datadog, PagerDuty, Meraki, and whole network environments, encompassing WAN, APs, Routers, and Switches.
  • Integrate and set up Datadog agent in QNAP NAS, Print server Host, and VM devices (Linux and Windows based).
  • Possess extensive knowledge of Datadog and its collector, forwarder, APM agent, and datadog.yaml files setup.
  • Establish On/Off call Shift Setup with Escalation Policy adjustment in Pager Duty.
  • Exhibit relevant hands-on experience in PagerDuty setup with Datadog and Meraki Dashboard.
