Key Responsibilities

  • Design layouts for custom memories, including SRAM and Register Files, at both leaf cell and top level (integration) scales.
  • Collaborate with circuit designers to translate schematics into optimized layouts, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Floor-planning, placement, matching, routing, parasitics, and layout constraints to drive informed design decisions.
  • Evaluate physical verification checks, including DRC, LVS, ERC, EM, and IR, to identify areas for improvement and optimize layouts accordingly.
  • Stay current with advanced process nodes, particularly those below 5nm, to ensure designs are aligned with industry standards.
  • Prioritize experience in scripting languages like SKILL, Python, or TCL to streamline workflow and enhance productivity.
  • Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in memory layout design.
    • Familiarity with high-performance and low-power memory layout optimization techniques.
