Data Engineering Role

As a Data Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity and accessibility of data for banking operations and analytics.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Develop robust ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Leverage large datasets and cloud-based solutions to guarantee data availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to comprehend data requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with data security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data quality and integrity.

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering is required.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases is essential.
  • Proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing and pipeline development is necessary.
  • Experience with big data tools and technologies is crucial.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
