We are seeking a dedicated and qualified physics educator to join our middle school team.

The successful candidate will inspire scientific curiosity and critical thinking in students while fostering a love for learning.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with educational standards, focusing on the principles of motion, energy, and forces.
  • Conduct hands-on experiments and demonstrations to enhance student understanding of complex concepts.
  • Assess student performance through tests, projects, and practical work, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
  • Maintain a safe laboratory environment, ensuring proper equipment maintenance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with science department colleagues to share best practices, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school activities, maintaining open communication with parents and guardians.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or Applied Physics, or a related field such as Mathematics or Engineering.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a middle school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of middle school physics concepts, including kinematics, dynamics, and electromagnetism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and motivate them to learn.
  • Effective classroom management expertise, with the ability to create a structured and productive learning environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and multimedia resources into lessons.
  • Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom.
