We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our security efforts.

As a Lead Security Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of secure application and cloud security programs. Your expertise will guide teams in designing and enforcing security best practices across our codebase, cloud infrastructure, and production environments.

  • Application Security: Conduct thorough security assessments, develop secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, collaborate with engineering teams to define coding standards, and continuously monitor and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Security: Design and maintain secure configurations, implement security services, define and enforce infrastructure as code (IaC) security controls, lead efforts in runtime protection.
  • Security Architecture & Best Practices: Champion a proactive approach to security, collaborate with product managers and infrastructure leads to ensure security is embedded into architectural decisions.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance: Support compliance initiatives, work with auditors and risk teams, establish internal security policies and regular audit activities.

Key Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in security engineering with a primary focus on application and cloud security.
  • Proficiency with programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, and web technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of application security vulnerabilities, threat modeling, and SDLC integrations.
  • Deep familiarity with Cloud security architecture and services.
  • Experience with DevSecOps tools and practices.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing industry best practices in access control, encryption, and security observability.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and compliance teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
