Lateral Flow Assay Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled specialist in Lateral Flow Assay to contribute to our team.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in LFA development and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize LFA assays from inception to validation, ensuring high performance and stability.
  • Expert-level hands-on experience with nanoparticle bioconjugation, particularly gold nanoparticles, including fabrication, characterization, and stability assessment.
  • Troubleshoot complex LFA performance issues, such as low signal, high background, flow inconsistencies, and long-term stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manufacture LFAs for whole blood samples, including on-board buffer integration.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory guidelines relevant to IVD product development, such as ISO 13485.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Analytical Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on, direct LFA development experience in the academy or IVD or medical device industry.
  • Strong analytical, logical problem-solving aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific data clearly and concisely.
