Senior Cloud Platform Specialist

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled Cloud Application Engineer who can design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based applications on the Azure platform.

This role requires a strong background in software development, with experience in designing and developing application backends using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Jersey, JPA, Hibernate, SQL, Linux, JSON, XML, OAuth etc. The candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in developing microservices using Spring Boot & GRPC and working with containerized services like AKS.

The selected individual will also need to have a solid understanding of Azure native development, including functions, queue storage, stream, S3, monitor, key vault, IAM, virtual machines, container service, AKS, storage, autoscaling, load balancer etc., as well as good knowledge of architectural best practices.

Experience with both SQL and NoSQL database systems, proficiency in writing queries, unit testing using JUNIT, PowerMock/EasyMock/Mockito etc., Git, Maven and CI/CD pipelines is necessary. Proficiency in developing code for both containerized (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless (Functions) environments is essential.

Azure SDKs interaction skills, credentials/secrets management and data encryption techniques are required. Experience with application deployment and troubleshooting on cloud, leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and inspire a team are must-haves.

• Develop and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based applications on the Azure platform.
• Design and develop application backends using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Jersey, JPA, Hibernate, SQL, Linux, JSON, XML, OAuth etc.
• Develop microservices using Spring Boot & GRPC and work with containerized services like AKS.
• Have a solid understanding of Azure native development, including functions, queue storage, stream, S3, monitor, key vault, IAM, virtual machines, container service, AKS, storage, autoscaling, load balancer etc.

Professional qualifications include:

• Strong software development experience in Java.
• Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing application backends using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Jersey, JPA, Hibernate, SQL, Linux, JSON, XML, OAuth etc.
• Minimum 5 year of experience in developing Microservices using Spring Boot & GRPC.
• Experience with working on containerized services like AKS.
• Minimum 4 year of experience in Azure native development using Functions, Queue Storage, Stream, S3, Monitor, Key Vault, IAM.
• Minimum 4 year of experience in using many of the Azure services like Virtual Machines, Container Service, AKS, IAM, Storage, Autoscaling, Load Balancer etc.
