About the Role

As a Chief Cyber Security Strategist at Tata Consultancy Services, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure architecture for our company's Cyber Security. This position requires operational planning for processes and standards of developing the organization's security architecture through the creation of new security designs and strategies.

You will lend consultative support to multiple teams within the organization to provide high-level technical expertise and insight, maintaining consistent knowledge of emerging trends and security best practices in the related technology space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders on the strategic vision for the enterprise leveraging security, managed solutions, and traditional capabilities; provide security designs for new solutions and technologies.
  • Design and implement new, cutting-edge secure cloud solutions within the organization.
  • Support secure cloud platforms that enable business applications to transform into scalable, elastic systems that can be created on demand.
  • Collect design requirements and create secure designs to meet Control owner requirements.
  • Provide threat analysis consultation across functional teams of the organization, both within the operating business unit and to Information Technology management and staff.
  • Maintain highly technical knowledge of security trends and emerging technologies to inform secure design, architecture, and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with the organization's cybersecurity architecture guidelines.
  • Define and document how the implementation of a new system or interfaces between systems impacts the security posture of the current environment.
Core Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery continuity of operations plans.
  • Ability to serve as the primary liaison between the enterprise architect and the systems security engineer and coordinates with system owners, common control providers, and info sec leads on the allocation of security controls as system-specific, hybrid, or common controls.
  • Knowledge of application firewall concepts and functions (e.g., Single point of authentication/audit/policy enforcement, message scanning for malicious content, data anonymization for PII compliance, data loss protection scanning, accelerated cryptographic operations, SSL security, REST/JSON processing).
  • Knowledge of industry-standard and organizationally accepted analysis principles and methods.
  • Knowledge of the enterprise information technology (IT) architectural concepts and patterns (e.g., baseline, validated design, and target architectures).
  • Ability to design architectures and frameworks.
  • Skill in determining how a security system should work (including its resilience and dependability capabilities) and how changes in conditions, operations, or the environment will affect these outcomes.
  • Knowledge of program protection planning (e.g., information technology (IT) supply chain security/risk management policies, anti-tampering techniques, and requirements).

The estimated salary for this role is ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,500,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
