The ideal candidate must have experience as an accountant in private accounting. This role involves responsibility for day-to-day accounting operations, including process cash receipts and maintain A/R subledger, process cash disbursements and maintain A/P subledger, payroll processing through payroll provider and accounting software, and maintain the general ledger.
">Key responsibilities include preparing cash, credit card, and other asset and liability account reconciliations, and maintaining support worksheets for each month end and year end. Additionally, you will prepare complete and accurate financial statements for month end and year end, work with more complex client financial infrastructures, including federal grants, restricted funds, and higher volume of activity.
">Required skills and qualifications include a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in accounting or related field, or an MBA with a concentration in finance or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in the job offered or as an accountant in private accounting is required.
