Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Selenium Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This individual will have a strong background in automating web applications using Selenium with C# and JavaScript (WebDriverIO) and a proven track record in creating and maintaining Azure Pipelines.

  • This role requires the ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriverIO for web applications.
  • The ideal candidate will write efficient and maintainable code in C# and JavaScript to automate web application testing.
  • This person will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to understand requirements and design test strategies.
  • They will create and manage Azure Pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • The candidate should ensure that automated tests cover all critical functionalities and edge cases.
  • They will identify and document bugs, and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
  • This engineer will stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Selenium and automation testing.
  • They will participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the automation framework.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriverIO for web applications.
  2. Writing efficient and maintainable code in C# and JavaScript to automate web application testing.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test strategies.
  4. Creating and managing Azure Pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  5. Ensuring that automated tests cover all critical functionalities and edge cases.
  6. Identifying and documenting bugs, and working closely with development teams to resolve them.
  7. Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in Selenium and automation testing.
  8. Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve the quality of the automation framework.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Selenium automation testing with C# and JavaScript (WebDriverIO).
  • A strong understanding of web technologies and web application architecture.
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriverIO.
  • Experience in creating and managing Azure Pipelines for CI/CD processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
