Senior Teradata Performance Specialist

As a Performance Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our Teradata system. This includes reviewing and optimizing SQL queries, managing database performance, and implementing best practices to improve system performance.
You will work closely with our team to monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize system performance. You will also be responsible for generating periodic performance reports using PDCR and identifying areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 6-12 years of experience in Teradata Performance DBA role.
- Strong expertise in writing and optimizing Teradata SQL queries, TPT scripts, etc.
- Statistics Management and Optimization skills.
- Experience in troubleshooting TPT/FastLoad/Multiload/FastExport/BTEQ/TPump errors.
- Good knowledge of UNIX shell and Python scripting.
- Ability to write efficient SQL and exposure to query tuning.
